Welcome to the latest news blog for contemporary life. This blog focuses on more or less niche interests such as electronic gadgets, a cappella music, video games, stand-up comedians. OK, fine, they may not all be niche activities but certainly not always tackled by our local new channels.
On the technological side, I would like to write posts about which gadgets to buy or how to choose gadgets to buy, which devices are currently trending and which items have great uses. Technology can be a fast changing environment and culture and everyone should keep up with new trends and capabilities. Unfortunately not everyone is as well versed as the tech community in this area. I wish to make this easier for everyone when it comes to finding out which device best suits you.
Onward, there are a lot of stand up comedians out there and of need of attention. My personal favorites do come from the UK where comedians appear almost every night on UK TV panel shows as well as touring on their own. I'll be serving up some reviews and some roastings if needed. Most of these on on YouTube and can be viewed.
Going on the video games. I really is a popular thing right now from Angry Birds to Final Fantasy, casual to hardcore, and portable to console. Though the stereotype for the video gamer is old jeans, a t-shirt, pizza, soda, and large eye-bags, many people right now play small games as well. There may be a debate whether or not they're "real" gamers or if Facebook games are "really" games. But semantically they are still gamers and games. With E3 coming up in a couple of weeks I'm sure this will be a hot topic.
Music in general is one thing prevalent in everyone and transcends time. A nice beat and a meaningful lyric make a good experience to listen to. A cappella music in particular is a reemerging form of music due to TV shows such as the it Glee and especially in the Sing-Off.
Well, that's just a preview of what will come but expect other categories as well such as politics, cooking, and classical music. Well time to start bringing out news.
